Wireless 2023

CÓRTEX FRONTAL and PLATO present Wireless, a collective exhibition that closes the cycle of the homonymous artistic residencies, held in 2022. During this first edition in Arraiolos, twenty Portuguese and international artists worked on embroidery, stamping, tapestry, and dyeing techniques. The selected artists are Abby King, Alexandre Camarao, Archontoula Tsatsoulaki, Cornelia Buchheim, Diana Carvalho, E J Caro, Erin C. Doherty, Francisca Carvalho, Joana BC, Joana Siquenique, Lesia Synychenko, Luísa Jacinto, Magdalena Kleszyńska, Maria José Mir, Maria Motylevna, Marta Leite, Mónica Faria, Natacha Antão, Tabitha Arnold and Svenja Tiger. The exhibition is a partnership between the two cultural entities and will open simultaneously in both spaces on April 28 from 5 pm to 10 pm. A textile workshop and masterclass program will run in parallel with this. The exhibition can be visited until May 12, 2023, from Tuesday to Friday, from 3 pm to 8 pm, and on Saturdays from 3 pm to 6 pm at Plato and Cortex Frontal by appointment.
