Stundenflaggen und Stundendecke, Day 1.
For the Artwalk - Berlin Artspring 2021 - I created two works out
of fabric dyed with natural colours. All the fabrics that I have used are parts
of old clothes, just like my bed linen.
The two works “Stundenflaggen” and “Stundendecke” are part
of the project “La mesure du temps” in which I create a series
of objects that serve as time measuring devices in an unusual way.
During the exhibition period,
the colours slowly faded just as the old fabric torn as a result of the action
of wind, rain, sun and time.

CORES PODRES / COMPOST AND WEED
Cores Podres / Compost and weed (Rotten Colours) is a project that I started in April 2020 in Berlin.
It’s an artistic reflection on the cycle “life, rot, compost, new life”. All pictures are
painted on paper with self-made ink from berries, weed and vegetable peels.
The following images present a selection of a total of works and colour studies,
accomplished between April 2020 and April 2021. All the organic material used to
make the ink was collected from local vegetables and wild plants.
